Australian Textile Art Award winner!

I was surprised and chuffed to win the 2022 Australian Textile Art Award with my piece "Moth Mandala" in late March.

The work is a cluster of 17 embroidered moths hovering over a painted full moon. Each moths wings were created using free machine embroidery to collage of fabric and lace scraps, then embellished with hand embroidery, beads and ofcourse sequins!
