Braids

We have a small range of Indian embroidered and woven braids, metallic tape (gota) and cords. In India braid and gota ribbon is commonly applied as an edging or border on shawls, saris and kurta tops. Gota ribbon is also cut and folded into different shapes which are then appliqued to clothing and household items. We love the wider braids for their motifs which can be cut out using a soldering iron or stencil burning tool. Braids are priced per 25cm, for example to purchase 1m of braid select a quantity of 4 ( 4 x 25cm = 1m)
